Custom Rolls Royce x Hermes

When you have everything in the world, what would you like? A custom, one of a kind car fitted out in collaboration with Hermes, in the same colours to exactly match your private jet, of course.

Japanese billionaire Yusaku Maezawa is known to be a world famous art collector, super car enthusiast and was also announced as the very first human on the list to be a moon tourist on Musks’s Space X.

He imagined the Rolls Royce Phantom to be his ‘land jet’ to closely compliment his private jet.

“It is the result of a deep, genuine collaboration between the Houses of Rolls-Royce and Hermès, in which designers, materials specialists, and skilled craftspeople worked side by side to create a truly one-of-a-kind Phantom,”

Torsten Müller-Ötvös, CEO of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars

“This unique Phantom is a fusion of East and West, ancient and modern, serenity and exhilaration. It was a great creative and cultural exchange working with Hermès; we learned a great deal from each other. It is always a pleasure when a client brings us a bold, clear, and imaginative vision and a great thrill to see it realized so perfectly.”

Michael Bryden, Lead Designer, Rolls-Royce Bespoke Collective

Tapping in to a cultural insight which uncovered people were making themselves sandwiches…. with crisps. Nothing more complicated than that. Loved the simplicity and focus.
